How far could you take your life if you had someone who believed in you?
About Taylor Bree
I don’t remember the exact day it happened but it was after I received tenure ~ job security and a teacher’s dream. I was 26 years old and I looked at the middle school building where I not only taught, but learned so much. I thought, “THIS IS IT?”
Everything seemed so confusing, yet so clear. I loved the kids. I loved making a difference, AND I could not spend the next thirty something years driving to the same place, doing the same thing over and over. All my background was in the education field. I had no idea what to do next, I just knew I couldn’t stay. I packed my bags and left teaching.
I tried new things. I got coached. I struggled. I got coached. I made less money ~ a lot less money. I got coached. IT ALL FELT RIGHT!
After I left teaching, my teaching friends would say “I wish I could get out!” Wherever I worked, my new colleagues were saying, “I hate this job, but I have to stay.” I knew it was time for me to help others change their “have to” to “want to.” It was time for me to coach.
